Cedar Financial continued to contact the consumer even after receiving the letter. Cedar Financial continued to call the consumer for months after the letter was delivered.

Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act prohibit creditors and debt collectors from communicating with you unless you inform them in writing that you wish to end communication. After the debt collector receives a written request from you to stop communication, they may contact you to inform you or file a lawsuit. Any other communication is a violation of law.
